The starting point for this hike is the beautiful Veillon Beach, which already provides a panoramic view and an idyllic setting to begin this escapade.
The route of the kayak ride takes place on the estuary of Havre du Payré, a coastal area that offers breathtaking marine landscapes.
Participants will have the opportunity to paddle through the calm waters of the estuary, surrounded by lush vegetation and marine life.
The first part of the ride leads kayakers towards Guittière, a charming coastal village. Along the way, adventurers will have the chance to discover the delights of the region by taking a break to taste oysters or shrimp.
This culinary experience will undoubtedly add a delicious touch to the excursion, allowing participants to savor the fresh seafood harvested locally.
But that's not all! An enriching experience also awaits the participants: a visit to the oyster production. In the heart of Guittière, they will have the opportunity to discover the fascinating process of oyster farming. Local oyster farmers will share their centuries-old expertise, explaining the different stages of oyster cultivation, from their birth to harvest. It's a unique opportunity to learn more about the oyster industry, which plays a major role in the region.
After this educational and gastronomic experience, the kayakers will continue their adventure by returning to Veillon Beach, where they can continue to enjoy the picturesque landscapes of the estuary and the sensation of paddling on calm waters.
